SLP's!!

Just get some good band clamps and the ssac will seal fine.
when i ordered my pacesetters from zzp, they had an option for slits in the collector, so when you clamp it down it gives a bit. No complaints with leaking so far, except where the d/p slips over the adapter to bolt on the catback (I think its leaking but im unsure). I used copper rtv as well.
i think ssac would be the best choice for price. they're 304 stainless like zzp and are only 349.00 compared to 790.00 without a cat! ssac only give a 30 day waranty but zzp gives a lifetime warranty. is the ssac setup for the egr valve or no? i know some headers are setup for the egr but the egr doesn't fit right
Emissions is for girls.
I got Pacesetter's and had them welded shut...no leaks. Ever.
ssac have provisions for the egr, but I blocked mine off cuz im not a vagie.
has anyone put alot of miles on the ssac headers? if so they holding up good?
Nope...pull out in one piece...welded to the collector and to the downpipe too...so there is just a front header, the crossover/rear header/collector/downpipe/u-bend delete is all one piece (so that is 2 pieces so far for you slow people) And it bolts to the existing catback...or reverse...pull the motor forward and when the font header is unbolted and the rear header is also...it slides right out the top.
Win.
The emissions parts gets me Im in ca and really dont have a choice I can maybe get by with non carbd headers but egr needs to stay intact
Yeah Iowa kinda sux, but I get to have guns and no emission bull****. If only I could shoot deer with highpowers.
So if you had to decide would you get s&s or ssac?
i think i'm going with zzp stainless, yeah it cost more but i want something that will last as long as the car does without problems. the ssac are nice but in the long run they might cause problems. the s&s are nice but if you buy new with cermanic coating they're just as much as zzp stainless.
