all right i have search the net for about two hours and am about to leap in to the fourms. sorry. so i own a 97 gtp no mods. she will start just fine but once the car starts to idle down from the starting process it will begin to sputter. it kind of sounds like its not getting fuel but im really straped for cash so just looking for some ideas. (things i have replaced> fuel pump coil packs, plugs, wires, vacum hoses, maf.) wells theres more but. by the way the only code that is returned to me is p1652 it has been there for ever so props if you figure that one out.

    Thanks in Advanced

Unplug the maf sensor. It'll be a little tough starting and you may need throttle for a minute or so to keep it running. The test is good though. If it runs better unplugged, it's typically the maf.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

hey, I was searching around and found your post, did you ever resolve the issue? BTW a p1652 is a is a problem with your high speed fan. I am having that issue right now and haven't figured it out yet. I'm going to start a post about it right now so search for that, maybe we'll figure something out.
