Looking to see what is a better option for me I know there is a price differance and am willing to pay for the better option. This is as far as I am going with he car for mods I have another car that I will mod farther. I now have Headers DP no Cat, FWI 180Tstat, Transgo Shift Kit, will get colder Plugs and a 3.4 mabey 3.3 Pully that is all I want to do with the car. This is a 01 GTP. I have a Scan Gauge Aeroforce to look for knock after. Just looking to see if the extra money for the Overkill is worth it.

I have read a little about him not being around too much. Just want to make an informed choice. Are the DHP tunable with software or are they locked

Will definitely gives a much better tune than DHP's canned tune. I'd still try him first. Can you even buy DHP PCM's new? They are long out of business now. The last to sell them was 3800 Performance and they supposedly sell ZZP PCMs now.

They never sold ZZP PCM's...I emailed them and talked to them about it.

    They still sell DHP's.

I'd go overkill. Idk what's with this "He's never around" ****. Everytime I've emailed him I've gotten a response within a day, and he was ready to setup a topswap tune for me and get it shipped out within a few days, but then I found a local guy (fastkatt) to do a custom tune for me. Never hear anything bad about overkill. DHP is good, but they're long out of buisness.

There were members here saying he never emailed back...so I'm just going by word of mouth.

    Sure...but like I said...just from what other's say.

I have had experiences with DHP PCM's and I love them...they are tried and true for YEARS. Only person I have ever heard of not liking a DHP was Logan (minichopper) because he used it on a high compression motor that it wasn't tuned for and toasted it.

Yeah I agree DHP is awesome, just wish they were still in buisness.
I guess I just like overkill cuz he's still around for support, and he'll tune for your exact mods.

the difference in those pullies is minimal. the car would be faster on the 3.4 with a couple more degrees of timing if you can pull it off.

overkill is a much more advance tune. if you can get ahold of him, and feel like waiting. he has the better tunes. hes new pcms are unlocked.

reptile has even said, out of all the caned tunes that he has seen, wills is by far the best.

BUT yes like you said, hes not always easy to get ahold of. if you send a couple of emails a day for a few days he usally writes back pretty soon (says his email is messed up and sometimes he dont get them) if there is anything you dont like, you can send the pcm back with in 30 days for a free retune.

BUT agian, custome tunes will get you alot further than these caned tunes
