and it feels like a monster! i only went down to a 3.6 but its lookin like i could have got away with a 3.5... but its definitely good for now! i got a overkill pcm from another member on here then just swapped on the mps and 3.6 yesterday evening. in first gear it will chirp the tires at 30 . well this post really has no relavence but im just overly excited about the whole thing. it pulls like crazy now... well at least it feels that way to me haha

a scangauge 2. i get a quick blip when i step on it of about 2.3 degrees and then it locks back to 0 at wot. but that happened before the pulley drop and the tune so im thinkin its false knock.

my car on the 3.2 with low timing would have blown my non-tuned 3.4 setup out of the water by a lot. the tune means a ton on these cars.

bio did you mean the 3.4 with a tune would have blown your 3.2 untuned out of the water? this tune is amazing. even for regular driving the shifting is so smoother. im sure a custom tune would be better but this is doin nice for now. i have a 2004 comp g and its a open cone, ss plog, and 3 inch downpipe then intense mps with a 3.6 and an overkill pcm

o alright i gotcha. i would like to drop down to a 3.4 with these mods and see what i could do as far as less timing and see whats best.. but for now im gonna be using this. i may order the 3.5 and see what i can do with that as it was my first instinct but i wanted to be safe. maybe in a month or so after i get used to this and so i dont feel like i completely wasted money on the 3.6 haha and to carl, yes i do have a 180 thermo, sorry i didnt include that i didnt really consider that a mod... and i didnt drop plugs yet since im not knocking.. i dont see the need to yet as they were done a month before i bought the car (in july) but i plan on getting roller rockers next spring so ill change them then and try to get maybe a 3.4 or 3.3 pully

street wolf said he has done it with a rental pulley puller from autozone or some kind of store like it, but i dont know how he would have pressed the new pulley or hub on though... the zzp puller was really easy to use... actually a good product on their part. and im not sure if any other vendors besides zzp rent out their pullers. i know intense doesnt because i asked them when i bought my mps from them.

you only need to use the puller once since youre getting a MPS. if you dont get a MPS then youre an idiot.

Depends on who you buy it from. Im still working on the refinements of my latest core, its basically the same as zzp, but the cost is lower.... $850 vs. $350.

2.3* isn't just a blip...that is a good amount of knock. In fact...any knock is bad. It took me a 3.1" to get .9* of knock at WOT...then when I dropped to the 3.0" and a little tune, it didn't knock, but the injectors started to run static. What are your exhaust mods? I'd say a PLOG and 3" Catless Downpipe if you don't have it done...or get headers...and run knock free with more timing.

i get that, but i had that same number stock, after my plog, after my downpipe, after my tune, and now after my pulley. it doesnt stay it shows up real quick when i step on it then goes right back to zero even at wot all the way through. thats why im thinkin its false knock. and i have a plog and the catted downpipe from zzp
