    Hi guys,

Getting ready to install another Rollmaster and was looking for pics of the crank gear installed at straight up unmodified timing.

As I remember there was something a little odd about how which keyway was used.

    Thanks
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Make sure you like up the dot on the FACE of the crank gear, that matches the dot on the FACE of the cam gear, as the Rollmaster crank gear also has a dot on the edge of the gear that makes the key way for the crank key to go into. Seen some install the the crank gear, and use that dot as the timing mark...and wouldn't you know...bent valves.

Set engine to cylinder #1 to TDC

remove old timing chain, install new, rotate engine around 3 or 4 times, and make sure each time the dots meet, they line up perfect. its not easy to make it off by 1 tooth, but many do.
