    When we blew the "Cash for Clunkers" up at work they billowed white smoke. Check your oil. Don't goto a shop saying "I need new LIM gasket." You'll pay out the anus and it might not even be that... Working at a shop, I HATE HATE HATE people that come in and tell me, a technician, what's wrong... They'll charge you for that and whatever else might be wrong.

    Start with the basics and work from there. Check your fluid levels...
    2003 F-350 7.3L Powerstroke, hybrid (burns diesel and rubber ), lots of mods, and gets 22.5 mpg!

    The only time you should be telling people whats wrong is if you're just buying parts.

    I would think suggesting checking a part you THINK is gone wouldn't be above and beyond acceptable correct?
