I have a 2002 GTP Supercharged and i want to start with the performance of elecrical and running the car cooler, ultimately creating more HP , a list of what i think might help and u add or remove things as neccesary.

My List (not positive about all of it)

    HD Water Pump
    ZZP 10.3mm Plugs
    Camshaft ?
    1.0 PCM
    Alternator Voltage Booster
    Fuel Pump Rewire
    CAI
    Smaller Pulley
    Upgraded Alternator

This is what i had in mind , PS (the car is completely stock as of now)

    Any Help Is Appreciated Guys

With a cam and decent mods' you'll want a mod specific PCM, not just a 1.0

Really depends, what cam, if your gonna have any head work done, t-stat, 185 is a good start, but if mods are heavy enough, all the way down to a 165 may be required... you need a better overall plan to ask these type of questions.... Pick you cam, and pulley, or at least power/speed goals, and then there will be better answers

no head work done , we were lookin at a VS or race cam , where i will get maximum results , possibly rockers and pushrods to compliment the drop. Im asking these questions bc were are turning this into a 9second gtp , he knows what to do but im not willing to drop 30,000 dollars on my engine just yet , i wanna see how it hold up with steady mods and were going from there...

yeah no worries , we were going with a custom turbo setup, maybe even twin for the 8's , they will build off eachother , 6 spedd race transmission , titanium piston , two stages of nitrous , this car right now is a show car but obv is going to be the fastest gp and gtp for that matter , so it kill competitions and burns up the track haha

I was going to tell you about a bunch of locals etc. But instead it seems reading the how to mod safely and why you should jump in the ocean and swim for Greenland before getting a ZZP PCM should be your first couple of stops.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Sweet. thats what I wanted to hear.

Yeah..lots of sarcasm in that. You should read the How to mod my car safely post. When someone first starts modding, vendor packages etc start to look really good. In the end though, picking and choosing your parts and having the custom tune is the best way to go.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You want your car to run 9's, but are unfamiliar with the function of a thermostat? Do mean 9's in the 1/8 mile then?

We don't mean to be rude (maybe we do?) but a 9 second gtp it an extremely difficult goal to reach. I am willing to bet money that at this point and time you cannot fathom the amount of work it would take just to get into the mid 10's let along the 9's or 8's.

Intense racing, who's employees SPECIALIZE in 3800 series engines were only able to make a 10 sec turbo setup, (i think it may have hit high 9's.) The World Record for a 3800 engine is by ZZP, a mid 8 seconds (and i have never seen a vid for this one).

I am not saying your goal is impossible, i am saying if you plan on taking some part in the build then stick around here for a while and learn a thing or two about the internals of a 3800 engine.

With that said, step one, buy a tuner and learn how to use it or find someone who can tune. A stock gtp can drop up to .8 seconds in the 1/4 mile with a good tune (or so someone has claimed).

I said it. 20 grand. That is what you need to run 9's. I ain't talking smack about your lambo doors or tribal graphics. I could care less. You asked what it took I told you.

ok well u guys seem to know your cars i respect that , n thats why i asked before opening my mout but if u read above i said exactly what it would take , and i said 30,000 for twin tubs blah blah , 8's and 9's is very attainable , seeinf as zzp twin charged holds the record , they would replace metal with plastic. CF etc ,
