Well........I will be looking to get an MPS setup after I have all of the supporting mods. I will not be going beyond the 3.4 setup and I just wanted to know what MPS system to go with. Are there any poor quality setups to avoid? What I am really looking for is the best "quality value" meaning the best quality setup for the lowest price. I am looking for suggestions so please advise away........Thanks guys and gals....Please share any positive and negative experiences that you have had.

I'm pretty sure most people will recommend ZZP for both price and performance.

ZZP/intense because they are the easiest to find used which makes getting smaller pullies later on super easy.

yeah.........steel or aluminum......the DUB system doesnt even offer a 3.5......ZZP is steel.........DUB is aluminum. Also, who has the best pricing on pulley pullers for rental or for purchase.

I am not being cheap.......I just don't want to overpay for something. Like I said in the first post. I want good quality at the best price.....obviously I am not going with a press on pulley if I asked for advice on the MPS set up.....

ZZP/Intense are basically the same MPS.

You could also get pulleys from nate herbst from Minnesota. He can make any size pulley you want and for any hub you may have. They are quality pulleys and hubs, using allen screws that sit flush with the pully when installed. Stainless steel hub/screws and aluminum pulleys that are a lot lighter than zzps'.

Contact him here for price- nherbst396@yahoo.com

Really? That's pretty cool and he does it for the general public or do we have to go through you since you know him...?

Great info nonetheless...do you think he is cheaper than ZZP/Intense?

The main differences are fairly small. The ZZP and Intense pulleys are 8 ribbed, so you can use them with either a 6 or 8 ribbed setup. On the other side, the Smoothflow/WBodyStore/PulleyBoys are 6 ribbed and lighter. They're also not as popular, but they do come up for sale pretty regularly.

The other systems, Thrasher, DUB, etc are usually more limited in pulley selection, as well as not being as popular so used pulleys aren't as easily available.

Nate does sell to the general public, his site is Smoothflow Pulleys
