Has anyone used the ZZP Intercooler pump controller that they sell? Does it work as well as they say it does? How is it installed?

Just get a GM pump for less than the cost of the controller and don't worry about it.

I dunno, thats alot of money for a controller. You could do a switch with a fixed resistor inline with the pump that way if your just cruising, you could have it spin real slow to save pump life but when you want to get on it, flip a switch and ramp it up full speed.

You could do the same thing building a simple pwm circuit, i see that theirs use that, but its processor controlled to do it automatically by tps voltage, still not that hard.

Its a neat thing but honestly, $120? I know the materials involved probably come in around $25.

Well i already have a Rule Pump so thats why i had bought the intercooler pump controller. I just dont understand how it all is wired up. I understand the positive and ground wires but it also has two wires coming out of it that looks exactly like an injector clip. Im assuming it plugs into an injector but which one? lol i got six injectors to choose from but yet they dont tell me which one it plugs into.

The controller is a waste IMO. People have been running years without such a thing withiout any problems. Go with a GM pump and have years of trouble free use and full speed. Theres no point in slowing down the pump. I bought an IC for a reason, to have an IC all the time, thats my opinion.

People tend to cheap out on the pump and i donno why. Why replace something yearly or worry about it all the time when I can have years of trouble free use? Makes no sense to me. The pump is the heart of the system and is no a good place to cheap out.

I'm biased though, I have 2 intercooled GTPs that are both daily drivers, both have good trouble free IC systems that have been running for years without any issues. Black one I run 50/50 year round, the white one I run straight distilled water in the summer, and 50/50 in thr winter. Thats literally all I do......
