Very true my friend...I was one of those stupid people. And also why I'm now so adamant about people not taking 2*-3* of KR for granted.

Kiss my ass Dean...you know my address you hairy vagina.

Kidding. You'll be getting a call once I get everything ready...assembling is going to be fun

In all reality...I took my first stab at porting...it blows ass but I for one can say I've never used a dremel in my life. Bad news...crank is scored...didn't even notice it until tonight...looks small...possibly emory cloth territory but that is still in the air.

And Nick you know I wanted that Thrasher cam

Anywho...craptastic porting pics are that still going to get some refining tomorrow hopefully after work. And yes...that ported LIM is getting used for my intercooler bishes

    STOCK...

    STOCK Runners...

    PORTED Upper...

    PORTED Runners...

Remember...those are VERY rough examples...still working and hoping to have all my imperfections ground out and smoothed to make the runners and upper look as perfect as I can get them.

Nice work, may i suggest making the opening a little bigger to utilize more of the intercooler core area.. just a suggestion though.

Two things about porting your runners nicky.
    1) If your gonna gasket match the runners, you need to take it in about an inch or so and blend it in. Don't go any smoother than 220. helps the air retain some sort of pattern (as to my reading) helps atomize the fuel better though the fuel is added later. anything can help right?
    2) I didn't think you were supposed to port the LIM on a 3800 because it flowed like ****!

    But what do I know

    Look at this whore

Somehow I knew that since I just blew a bunch of money there recently LOL

For Pushrods/Valve Springs/Retainers...what do all you guys recommend with the Thrasher Race Cam? I was going with Titanium Retainers, #130 springs...but not sure on the pushrods...and when I get the extra money I am getting Yella Terra's so Rollers will be it.

130# springs with the manley retainers from intense. pushrods you should be able to use stock, but if you want to upgrade to the comp ones to get a beefier pushrod thats up to you.

i would highly suggest a double roller with that setup though as its going to be stupid hard on the valvetrain.

Nick I'm only finding Manley 150's...There are COMP 130's but idk about that since I kept hearing all this crap about comp springs breaking. After seeing the damage some double roller setups can do I'm very iffy about them. I thought about a JP HiPo Single Roller but its still up in the air.

pretty sure intense sells crow cam 130# springs. those are the ones i was going to be using on my setup before i sold it all.

and once again, if you make sure the double roller is on there how its supposed to then it should be a problem. im running a double roller and i havent broken it yet (30k miles).

you have to make sure the crank gear lines up correctly or the chain will be running at and angle and eventually eat itself. i got lucky and didnt do anthing but install it and go. so far so good so im not worried about it anymore. you may have to add to the chamfer of the crank gear if it doesnt seat all the way.

have you read up on any of the double roller debacle on clubgp? read this:

Wow...what a read. So basically it is still hit and miss with these things then? Or do I still have to machine the crank gear to get it to fit right...just asking because my head just got blasted with so much roller info I went crosseyed...

If you end up running that rollmaster POS Nick, you better machine the crank gear, or I'm gonna kick your ass.
