well here gos, rebuilt a spare sc ported.. seals... its jam up good. 95% of coating still on rotors and case. the old sc that cam off was missing 75% of its coatings. with the better sc in place ...boost still hits around 10 lbs (3.5 mps) but the car pulls so much harder. the problem is i'm now getting 2* to 6* kr. if i adj. the bbv to where boost comes on later, will it make a diff? is it due to the rotors having most of their coating? i have cheked for something hitting causing false kr. lastly, i put in fresh 104's (again) gapped at .060 , experimenting with gaps. any damn clues would be nice thanks guys

Too small of a pulley? Those Gen V's are a lot harder to run KR free then a Gen III'ed car.

Are you playing with the octane as well too? And maybe try .55 on the plugs. Only things that come to mind. If the s/c is the only thing you changed and you started wit hlittle to no KR I'm at a loss. Good luck

Not sure. Did you unplug the battery during the install? IF you did your trimms may still be adjusting. And that may be what is causing it. Just a shot in the wind at a problem that really does not make to much sense.

Sorry for not returning your call. If you had another question for me other than this just let me know.

play with the bbv. that maybe the culprit. or this supercharger is just boosting better. tune might need to be reworked.

i did adj. the bbv up a little bit and the kr is at 1 or 2* atmost. i always run 93 octane. just wandering if it was maybe more efficient with the coating vs. same pulley and hardly any coating....oh well thaks guys.

Well, IMO with no coating the blower doesn't create as MUCH boost...so you might have a bit more to worry about idk...

the BBV normally doesnt cause any knock. its your fueling and timing that does. unless its false.
