Take the 2 brackets that bolt it to the LIM and rear header (you will have to cut them off) and put a penny in each of the larger holes and RTV them in...bolt the bracket back down and EGR is gone Then you'll have to get it tuned out of the PCM.

Unless you have an intercooler, the only thing you gain is worse gas mileage.

Take a bone-stock car, remove the EGR, and mileage suffers considerably. I do not know what you had done to your car previously to removing it, or how you drive your car on a daily basis. I know with casual driving we lost about 10% fuel economy...and I am sure I can tune around it to get most of it back.

it doesnt do ANYTHING besides reduce mileage SLIGHTLY when cruising. that is the only time that the EGR is active.

i drive my car like it owes me money everyday, so i dont get good gas mileage anyway. on a trip up north i got 26 mpg recently. otherwise around town and stuff i get 20-22.

i also have my car tuned to have high timing during cruise so i can get a little more mileage.
