Not really...that is the entire reason for filling the slits in the blower case. They are there stock to keep it quiet. Or for the fact of the larger V. Plus, I bet you got more whine when I moved your intake setup when the intercooler was installedRunning the filter closer to the blower = more whine.
Don't the rotors run over the slits too? How does that work? It has as much contact to the rotors as the blower outlet does for the most part...
I think though...that the Epoxy is a way harder, and THICKER material than the rotor coating is by far. Plus, when the rotors begin to lose their coating it doesn't all come off at one it is little by little IMO. Not enough to damage anything...but, a chunk of JB Weld, Epoxy, or even Quiksteel would scare me enough to not do that unless I had a IC to block it incase something did happen.
