Ok so tom. i am going to be putting on my LIM along with some other goodies, but i just noticed tonight, where the yellow o-rings go, the holes are filled and am curious if i am going to run into any problems with them being welded over?

wait the hole where the coolant elbow goes is filled? You need the hole(s) where the upper coolant elbows go. There is a hole on the LIM and one on the water pump.

hah, the funny thing is a lot of people fill those in which is okay to keep the coolant from the blower and throttle body, but youre actually blocking off a part of the coolant flow that goes to the rear head which will in turn let the rear head run hotter than the front one.

here is what you need to do: open that cap on the TB side of the lim and take a dremel to it and open it up a little more. this will let the coolant flow to the rear head be opened up a little more since you blocked it off from the top side. id show you pictures of mine if i had any and im not taking mine apart to take any.

dont open those holes back up, it helps with cooler tb temps. just dremel out the side like bio said or leave it alone, ive been runnin with them welded for a while now no problem
