So tomorrow at 10 am I have an appionment to get my 01 GTP dynoed and scanned. They have a "dyno dynamics" dyno. Anyone want to take a guess what my #'s will be? I hope i'm not disapointed.

So I got the car dynoed yesterday, I was not happy with the results, right off the bat the shop owner told me that his dyno will read much lower than a dynojet dyno. When he ran it in gear the hp curve went down as it got into higher rpms, starting around 4000, he said it should have held more flat. he ran it in second and the results were 198.8 hp and 287 tq,but when he ran it in third it was ****, like 170, he said my AFR couldn't be more perfect, he told me on a dynojet it would be 230ish, he also drove the car on the road said it seemed very good. wtf?

what does it matter look at that torque. torque is what moves the car not horsepower.

these cars dont make high hp for the runs they make on the track. your car is near stock, probably knocking a little bit, and youre making about stock ish power because of it.

you need a wideband and a REAL tune.

Yeah that's why I never got mine dynoed. I have the same mods that he did and I didn't wanna be all dissapointed cuz the numbers would b low. Dyno #s don't really matter to me. Its the track numbers I'm concerned with
