You got the stock bolts for the GenV?
You will also need to re-route your pcv system, tap it back into the intake tube, and make a block off plate for the evap solenoid on the GenV. Other than that, have fun!

If they aren't part of the SC gasket there are two coolant o-rings.... Definetly post up some pics when done....maybe even make a write-up

I knew I liked you 02BlueGT, asking for the write up.

Definitely do a write up if you can. Id like to see written and visually documented write ups on anything even as simple as an air filter change, oil change.

why do you need a write up for this? the only "hard" part is adapting the pcv.

Some people like to see what they are getting into before they do it.... and anyway, the more write-ups the better

AH HA. That's exatly the info I was looking for. That damn PCV. Since these IC's are the old ass ones there is no function PCV so that makes life somewhat easier. I have all the IC bolts for a Gen V set up. The block off plate for the evap selenoid is what I was really looking aht here !

PS. I'll do a write up I geuss... Or I'll just dictate what I'm doing to someone and they can write it while I'm busy working. lol.

Get yourself an EGR blockoff plate from ZZP and it'll work well for the EVAP, although when I did my GenV swap on my 98 I kept the GenV's EVAP solenoid.

If you don't have the PCV inlet in the IC, just cap off the vacuum port, and be sure to run a good breather setup. If you've seen Jesse's car, I like to get the push-in 1 1/4" chrome breathers (Edelbrock or Mr Gasket brand), along with a Mr Gasket grommet that has baffles to prevent oil blowout, and drill the oil filler cap for the grommet.

Ensure you have the GenV IC bolts.

If you're reusing the GenIII IC and modifying it, you'll need to epoxy some of the GenV vacuum ports, hold the plate up to the bottom of the blower and you'll see them. Epoxy putty FTW.
