OK. I have an 05 supercharged, everything stock, just ordered my inferno appearance package. I was wondering if there are a few things I can do to get some hella power (MORE HP) out of this car.. it has 44000 miles on it, I use it for work but would love the little extra horse power... I was going to get a new exaulst and what ever you guys would have me add I am all ears... thanks.... well within reason and not alot to do with engine cause I am not a mechanice by no means, I will have everything done for me..

a catback is useless on these cars except for the sound.

if youre looking for a very fast car, get a cam. if youre looking for a streetable fast car, get rockers.

then the rest of the bolt ons are self explanitory. headers, ported blower, intake, etc. an intercooler is THE single best mod you can do. you will be able to safely drop a few pulley sizes alone from it.

For something for work with that many miles, I'd personally do rockers, not a cam. Get all the supporting stuff. intake, plugs, t-stat, d/p, etc.

OK, here is what I have came up with so far... based on what you have said,, I need to know about how much they are going to charge me to put all these mods in for me as i know nothing about cars.. anyone in houston or any clubs in houston that maybe can help.... ok here goes..

    1. Rockers
    2. Headers
    3. ported blower
    4. Intake
    5. an intercooler
    6. Drop down a few pulley sizes
    7. Corsa Exhaust System

what should I be able to expect from everything listed above.. Do I have to do anything with my (PMC) or is it (PCM) lol... I have shopped around for prices on everything and they are not to bad, just the install is going to kill me. is there a one-stop shop for everything that is reasonable? please give me some hints here. I will post many pics when all done...

with all of that and the right tune you could run high 12s, but it will most likely be a low 13s street car. all of that is going to run you up pretty well. lets say rockers (~$300), headers (~$600), intake (~$50, make your own), ported blower is free since youll do it yourself, skip the intercooler and catback for now. this will set you off VERY well and make the car hella fun to drive. you will be able to safely drop to around a 3.4 pulley down to a 3.2 depending upon your tune. THE TUNE IS THE KEY PART OF YOUR CAR!

im going to be running a 3.2 pulley pretty soon on my setup once i get back into tuning it. the weather around here is pretty ****ed up. i am running non-intercooled because of the winters up here and pumps freezing. remember, you need a lot of supporting mods for these cars to be able to drop pullies. even stock they knock pretty decently, which is not a good thing.

for everything you need, buy from ZZPerformance .

Also remember the 05 is a gen 5 it works much better then the gen 3. Don't do what I did to my wives car. I got a 3.4in pulley and it ran like crap. For a gen 5 car that is to much boost with out good modes. I changed to a 3.6,($60) a PCM from Intense, ($100) 180 thermostat($12) Thrashercharged cold air intake. ($180??) Cat. delete from the W-Body stoore($145). and it runs great for a daily driver. From what I was told on a gen5 anything smaller than a 3.6 and you will have some bad KR.
PS I also have to run 93oct. with her car. Craig
