Yeah, its definitely a possible source for some if not all the KR. If you think about it, the wear on the plugs causes a wider gap which makes the spark harder to ignite or weaker when it does.

Though, in all fairness to that idea, I would expect you to see a richer mixture because of it and it doesnt seem that you are.
