My next question is im undecided on what under drive pulley size to go with my pcm will accept a 3.4 or 3.2 pulley and i don;t know if i wanna go with the 3.2 pulley or not please give me you ideas on this to

    Thanks

3.2" is too small...you should in theory be fine with a 3.4"...but get a scanner and test for KR just incase.

Maybe with a good launch low 14's high 13's with a 3.4" but who knows...a guy with a T-Stat, DHP PCM, 3" DP/U-Bend Del., Plugs/Wires, Thrasher CAI threw down a low 14's...stock everything else, 3.8" pulley, motor mounts, (not even flipped) tires, tranny...yeah...

3.2 is too small for your mods, i think you can run a 3.4, only way to know is to scan. Im guessing you wil run 14's

like was already stated, run the 3.4 but youll still be knocking with that without a great tune. i would expect a low 14..maybe..

I think a 3.4" might still be too small, but I've seen stock motors run on nothing but a 3.4" and be just fine. With a decent launch, (1.9-2.1 60 ft) low 14's and maybe a 13.9XX if you're lucky. I would expect your trap speed to be around 98-100 mph.

yea hahaha. this happened to me on my first pass... got better each time though. its still hard to get it though. it really is a pain in the ass to launch these things on street tires. i think the trick is to do a footbrake launch at about 1300 rpm... then gradually go down into the gas up to WOT in about a second

Well, with all my mods I hit the brakes and gas it until about 2K rpms or so...let go of the brake on the 3rd yellow light and give it enough gas to where the tires chirp...then once I get to about 15-20mph I lay all the way into it. Still spin but I cut 2.0 or lower 60's on street tires so idk...

thanks guys for all the help haha. What other mods would i need to run a 3.2 pulley setup. My other question is with any higher quality scanner will i be able to watch my KR and what exactly am i looking for. If i do need a special scanner where can i get one and what is a good brand to go with. Hopefully i can get my car spinning to a little bit and hookup and fly down the track. A 100mph sticker would look real nice on my car

    thanks
    Dan

You can get away with a 3.2" right now if you get a intercooler or a Methanol Kit.

intercooler yes, meth no. meth will not let you run a 3.2 on your setup. believe me from experience.

100% meth. i havent seen what kind of timing i can get out of it yet, but ill already tell you now that with that setup you cannot run a 3.2 on meth and still be fast.

the only way to do that is to completely flood the engine with gas and meth and it will drive like a DOG. youre best off running a 3.4 and seeing where you can get from there.

Huh...just wondering...I know someone who kinda sorta dropped from a 3.2" on a GenV to a 2.8"...KR free...100% meth, but a pretty big nozzle...
