Honestly it depends on how confident you are. IF you can find one, I'd grab a DHP Powertuner...but good luck.

HP Tuners software is the way to go with these cars IMO...DIY tuning on your laptop FTW!! And yeah...you just gotta figure it all out lol

the pulley on my car is a modular system...can i find a stock size pulley that is modular or even a 3.7 or something? and are the bolt patterns on all modular systems the same?

Intense and ZZP should be interchangeable. I don't know about the others.

I have a modular 3.8" on mine as we speak.

    Intense and ZZP interchange

    PulleyBoys, WBodyStore, and SmoothFlow interchange

Dub and Thrasher are on their own

What system do you have? Most of them have a 3.8" available.

OK, does it have 4, 5, or 6 screws holding it on? That will narrow it down.

it has 6...i got my car scanned today and it had 3* or KR. I drove a whole tank of gas with the scanner on and the most KR it had was 3*. Is it still a bad idea to run a small pulley?

6 screws means it's a Thrasher system, AFAIK. 3* is a LOT better than I would have expected.

You were flooring it right? Only 3*? That's fishy. I wonder if they desensitized the knock sensors in the tune or something...
