    i noticed ive been idling at about 1000, 1100ish for the past week about, and im not too sure whats wrong. im getting the p0507 code for the high idle as well... anyone got anyideas on what could be the problem? or even if theres just a way for me to adjust the idle? (heard you can do it on some cars but im not sure if you can with ours). I also recently installed my zzp hv stg 1 throttle body, but i dont think it really ashould have effected it much because its really not much different than stock, they say you shouldnt even have to tune for that throttle body.

    what other codes are there? IAC screwed up?

    also, why did you buy a HVTB? you could have hogged yours out for free and it would have been better.

    thats the only code going right now. and i only bought the hv tb because i needed an maf, and the tb came with all sensors included. i didnt really do it for performance because it really doesnt do anything for that, just figured i would for the hell of it if i was getting an maf. but the only code going is the p0507

    There is an idle adjustment screw on the TB that can be slightly adjusted. If the throttle blade is closed all the way, then your IAC is probably stuck open.

    ok thanks, ill check this out. Where is the adjustment screw, and what eactly is the IAC?

    I can't say on a national forum. Get your mind out of the gutter jk

    It should be somewhere along the spring on the throttle IIRC...I have a LS1 so it is pretty easy to adjust it...

    mine was doing that a month ago. all i did was moving the vacum line around and the high engine idle stop.

    yea, im pretty sure its some vacuum line somewhere. just gotta figure out which one...
