My car is throwing the 0440 code which has to do with the evap system. Autozone tells me to replace the gas cap and i know it isn't that. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this? Is it a vacuum ?

Check the vacuum lines from the fuel rails all around underneath the snout of the blower to the back of the motor to a small black box type thing with a "pinch" connector on it...that is the HVAC. Then follow it to the TB...and check the rubber T's as the tend to rot over time and if not check the U shaped rubber pieces that go from the HVAC to the TB.

The clips that hold the vacume lines onto teh evap silinoid need to be pushed on to the silinoid more.

This was the first vacume leak I have ever had on my car. And that fixed it.
