I want to put a N* throttle body on my gen v. I was going to go to the junkyard to purchase it. Anyone know what else I would need with the throttle body besides the adapter plate in order to hook it up properly?

Is the throttle cable bracket the same? Or is it modded to work with our cars?

depends which one you get. the 3 bolt N* has a crappy crappy bracket that youll have to try and modify on your own or make your own for it to work well. the newer ones you can buy a bracket that is already modified from ZZP. do you have your blower inlet opened up to match the N* already? youre going to need to do that otherwise there will be a big step the air has to take.

i got rid of my N* after a few days of having it because i didnt like the throttle feel. our throttle isnt linear, it actually opens more the more you push down the pedal. the N* makes it linear which is why people say they have "better" throttle response.

From what ive read alot of guys are bolting up N*'s with their gen v, claiming a perfect match, without porting the inlet and claiming more power and that better throttle response.

yeah, that is because a genV has a 75mm inlet. i was figuring you were talking genIII here.
