Hey guys i need some help/advice. Saturday night my car just quit. it wont start. Pretty sure the fuel pump took a sh*t. When i turn the key on i no longer hear the wine of the fuel pump. Theres nothing else that seems wrong. Checked the fuelpump relay and fuse both were fine. Anything else i should check?

Not that I know of. I have a fuel pump write that i just finished. I'll post a link to it in a second. Oh and if you do need another pump...Get a racetronics. Way cheaper than an OEM and just as much as one from the parts store....Much better though.

It could be the resistor. Do the bypass my bending pin 85 of the relay out of the way.

Doesent this also give the fuel pump more voltage? Or something like that...I think I herd something about it put's it in high speed mode? IDK

    Welcome to PRJ.Performance

Go to products then select the racetronics fuel pump. It's 150 shipped. Not bad at all. A OEM one is 300.00

It gives the pump more voltage...at lower RPM's. The resistor is there to "ramp up" the fuel pump when needed, and more-so to keep it quieter at idle. You still get the same voltage at peak, you just get it across the board with the bypass.

Maybe a little, but the computer should compensate.

If you know it's the fuel pump then you should more than likley still replace it. Never know when it may go out. Highway? In traffic?

TDC a walbro 255 is only 124 at intense would i be better off with that or does it flow too much and i would need bigger injectors to support it? If i would what size and when should one even consider injectors to begin with?
