that resistor wont make the tack drop to zero and stall the engine out. only the crank sensor will. if you went with anything but a ac delco part its likely dead again.

The tach dropped to zero because the engine was not running. When I would try to start it, it would run and the tach worked fine. Everything pointed to the fuel pump as the "low fuel" light would come on when I knew I had 3/4 tank of gas. I have the new pump in and am just trying to get wiring right and get the power to the pump....
