Thread: Air blowing upwards from alternator area?

[Have been annoyed lately at a strange odor coming in with the fan on so I went to check under the hood after starting the motor to see if there were any signs of rodents or something getting cozy in there and maybe causing the smell.



did ya check/replace the cabin filter?


as for the air blowing, ya sure it isnt comeing from the alt? they typically have some sort of fan blade on them

It honestly does feel as though it’s coming directly from the alternator which is why I found it odd.
I recently replaced cabin air filter, last month I’d say.
