There's a schrader valve on the fuel rail by the fpr. All you need is a fuel pressure gauge and it'll tell you what the fuel pressure in the rail is. That will tell you if there's enough fuel going to the injectors to start the vehicle. Then, if the fuel rail has enough pressure say 50psi or so, then I'd check the injector wiring to see if when you go to start the engine that the injectors are getting power. Basically, hook up a multimeter in voltage mode and read what happens when you try to start the car. It should very quickly alternate from 0 to 5v when you try to crank. you can rent fuel pressure gauges from any autoparts store. They also cost like $20.
If the injectors are getting voltage and there's good pressure on the fuel rail, then check the spark. Easy way is remove a spark plug wire, take a long screw driver and touch it to ground (upper dogbone mount works well), on the shaft, hold the spark plug boot very close but not touching the screwdriver. Have someone crank the car. You'll see the spark ark to the screwdriver if you have spark.
Using these two tests you can isolate the issue to fuel or spark and troubleshoot from there. Once you determine a path, troubleshooting gets much much easier.

Scratch that didnt see u said something

there is a ground wire on the passenger front corner of the supercharger. Car wont run with out it being grounded.
Need to see if your getting spark and fuel. Need a fuel pressure gauge and an extra spark plug.
Ground wire
Electrical connector by the coil packs
Fuel Pressure
Spark Plug Wires installed in correct location

I got fuel I got brand new plugs and spark in correct location and tested all the injector plugs for voltage and everyone has it ill have to check that ground wire I remember that wire was a pain to get off, will it try to start if its not grounded bc it tries to turn over but won't actually fire
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
i thought this was just a rail and injector swap? what else was done during that time? i see no reason for the coil bracket and that ground to come off for a fuel rail.

Well actually that's true but I did take it off when I replaced the alternator so that's not the problem i forgot lol bc it started after I changed that any way to test if the injectors fire without being able to start the car?

you must have missed all my text here a page back.

what are these new injectors? stock replacements?
check for spark yet?
side note, the injector harness can have a bad spot that you aggravated by taking the plugs off. so you can look for a break, or also test the power at the plug, test light works, or you can take a marker light out the head light and push it in the injector plug. you turn the key to run and the bulb should flash a few times, or the test light will flash if its got power. it only flashes a few times then you have to re cycle the key, its the prime for the engine to start. if it dont flash at all you got no power to them.

The bulbs I got don't fit for some reason I tried
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
test light works too. they are super cheap at like 3 bucks for a cheap one.

Okay I got one of them do I put it on the injector harness plug?
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
inside the plug, dont cross the tabs or you blow a fuse, and they only flash a few times then stop when you turn the key to run.
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
You could take a 194 bulb out of your turn signal, straighten the wires and stuff them into an injector pigtail.
Something to keep in mind is your injectors have power all the time. The pcm toggles the ground to actuate each.
I'm surprised no one has had you spray a little carb cleaner/brake cleaner into the throttle body with it open, then try to fire it up. If it coughs sputters or runs for a second, you have a fuel issue.
Take some detailed pictures and post them. This can't be much more than a silly connector or something easy. 3800's aren't difficult.

oh dont worry i tried that somewhat didnt get anything better im uploading a vid to youtube so i can put the link on here so you guys know what it is sounding like after every crank rebolution i hear something like a rush of air idk where its coming from
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
heres the link to the vid some kink of air noise if you listen close cant tell where its comming from
Gtp wont start after new injectors - YouTube
second link is before i did anything
2001 Pontiac Gtp open headers rev - YouTube
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
damn that thing dont want to fire up in the before vid. mine fires up with 1/2 a crank.
is that the air box making that sucking sound? or a huge vac leak?
in the before vid i see your evap purge hose is up the fire wall, not to the tb, is that port blocked off? if not theres a huge vac leak.
Re: Will not start after replcacing fuel rail and injectors
I'd really like to see pics or a vid of the engine is possible. We can see the engine and harnesses etc, maybe we see something and can point out what's wrong.
The sound of the engine cranking over isn't much help unfortunately. The sound of air whooshing could be where the pistons are etc when you stop cranking. Could be that your airbox is off.
Have you tried using the carb clean on the floor to fire it up?
