    i installed colder plugs one step tr55 ngk gapped at .55,eventually going to pulley drop and exhaust mods and all that but the car now runs horrible, cant go over 2000 rpms driving without it misfiring bad and missing at idle. do i have to tune the pcm for colder plugs or something?

    re check the plug wires. sounds like you got em crossed up.

    if they check out you might have cracked a plug or two or 3 if you dont have a real spark plug socket.

    no tune is needed.

    okay ended up being 3 cracked plugs, going to talk to ngk about it because i know i didnt crack them myself because u used a borescope and checked after installing, good call scottydoggs thanks man, i just drove it around the block and really didnt notice a difference between the 606's and the tr55's i gapped them at .55. is there a noticeable difference or anything when swapping to a colder plug? thanks

    they could help fight off kr some. and they are new, so they feel better then the old ones.

    Im thinking about running colder plugs when i do a plug and wire change next weekend. What are the benefits to running cooler plugs? Ive got a host of mods on the car already along a 3.4 pulley.
