So I just bought an 04 GTP since regretting selling my 99 for 5 years. Was getting s misfire code po303& sometimes po300. Changed plugs wires packs. Toook her out seemed to be running top notch. About 5 miles in i seen smoke coming from the engine. Got it home looked the hood and the whole passenger side of the engine compartment was soaked with antifreeze none inside. No overheating can not see where the leak is coming from but there was A LOT. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I know when I had my 99 this was my go to. I gave that beauty to my niece and she's still running strong with over 300,000. Mine well just described.

OEM coolant elbows are plastic. they get old and brittle and break.. check out the alt bracket where they reside

The elbow I can see doesn't seem to be leaking. So it's definitely lower. Is there another elbow that I can't see without tearing everything. Apart

Coolant Elbows as mentioned is 99% probability... But to be sure, clean things good (engine degreaser, hose down)and make sure is good and dry. Get very bright work light, flashlight, one of those mirrors on a stick you can position and have it all in place to see the backside of the Alt bracket where coolant elbow is. The top one you can see plainly. Have someone start car and observe, you'll see where it's coming from. Depending on mileage, the front cover or WP could be the culprit, but not normally.

If the elbows check out it could possibly be the water pump failing.
