    Ok do i want a 7" or a 9" filter for basic mods. 3.4 intake exhaust pcm

    It would not hurt anything to have a 9'' but you would be fine with a 7''.

    hmm cuz what i have now is just around 5" and is trashed

    The bigger the better, and the closer to the fender well with as short of pipe/coupler off the TB. So the 9" helps do both these easier

    no dif really at that level, some will say the more filter surface area the better... but it really doesent make THAT big of a dif

    i use a 9" fwiw.
