Use Pac 105's...
Dont need a double roller for 105's, BUT, while everything is open, why not, if you go heavier springs you're all set.

Pull your #1 cyl plug and stick a long screwdriver or magnet in there, turn it over till you feel it stop up top.... Tdc

Replied to his question on page one, lol

Ok well the only question now is what cam to go with? S1x, xp, 3800 performance high energy? I don't have ported heads and I don't plan on it so ya. I really like the nic cam but everyone says it's really difficult to tune and although I have a tuner my skills using it are pretty beginner level so I don't think I want to mess with that.

I trust just about anything overkill says but I don't know anyone that has run this cam. If you look at his build recipe and his logic behind everything it makes perfect sense. I almost wish I had done his cam instead of the XP just because it is so much simpler and less parts to change.
Tuning a nic cam is no different than a xp or s1x.
Nic will drop your mileage more than the xp or s1x. If that doesn't matter to you, and you will never intercool or e85 the car, then you might have the best luck with it.
If you daily the car, will intercool it or e85, you should get the s1x or xp.
As far as deciding between the two, their specs are almost identical, so whichever you get the best deal on.
Ya I just read through all his info and specs and both look like pretty good cams. They also only have .507 lift, maybe I don't have to change springs. Then again only leaving .013 margin for error is probably not smart lol. Also What's up with all the bad talk On the jp timing sets? Is that still a problem or after 7 years did they fix they're crap

Jp timing sets only applied to the double rollers. They had a bad batch and a lot of people lost motors. But I think rollmaster bought them out and fixed the problem.
Well I'll probably just end up going rollmaster. Also does anyone know who grinds intense cams. There's a guy selling an s1x cam and I just want to make sure it's real. The specs on the cam paper he sent me a pic of are a hair off, I'm not sure maybe that's just the tolerances? The cam he has is in a "cam motion" box

I believe comp does.
And please tell me that you decided to go with the double roller.
That is undecided there's lots of people that run a single roller. I would run a double roller but I forgot what all was needed to do that, machined oil pump, extra thick gasket? Just a lot of extra $$$

Yeah you need a machined oil pump cover and either 2 gaskets or a thicker one.
Just curious, why would you run a single roller over a stock style chain? I think I've only ever seen one stock chain fail where tons of single rollers have.
