Thanks for the solid advice to the people who have pitched in. Iv actually decided to go ahead and go with the s1x since I have heard good things about it from others. I picked up a set of 1.8 yella Terra's a couple of months ago that looks like I have no use for them now. Guess I'll post them on here to see if anyone shows some interest.

You could use the 1.8s if you get your heads worked.

I'm contemplating on using the 1.8s if I can get some head work done. Just curious if it's even worth it to add that little extra. Been looking at heads on zzp lately and the Cnc heads interest me the most right now. Just haven't heard much about them on here.

Well I have the stg3 heads. I could have kept the 1.9rr and s1x as it would be under the max allowed lift but I wanted a higher end power range so I went to the s3 cam by intense
just simple math using the various cam specs 1.6 x (xxx)= lift or 1.8 or 1.7 etc etc

You will probably make more power with stock rockers than with 1.8's.

Talking with the cam not just the rockers themselves. Pretty sure I would make more power with the s1x and 1.8 rockers then with just the s1x and stock rockers.

Yes. You will probably make more power or just as much with a s1x cam and stock rockers as you would with a s1x and 1.8 RR's.
