    which Way Is The Easiest To Take Out Engine And Trans From The Cradle Or Up Top With A Motor Hoist

    up top with a cherry picker is easier. it is also easier to not take out the trans with the motor if you dont have to because you dont have to take the axles out or mess with any of the trans fluid lines.

    if youre pulling out both i would just drop the cradle. do you have a lift?

    When i do it i just do them one at a time. Don't forget there is a bracket on the passenger side of the transmission that connects the engine to the tranny. So don't forget to take that off.
