I finally decided to upgrade to a smaller pulley and found Smoothflow on ebay with good prices, the background checked out and quality work.

Messaged him early Saturday morning asking for a special order instead of just what he had listed on ebay. To my disbelief i had a response with in 5 min. After some confusion he had me call him directly (assuming on his day off at home with his family) we talked and got the order complete.

This is important when people like me who want car parts and hate waiting!

The customer service was great. I would recommend Nate from Smoothflow pulleys to anyone looking for a MPS.

Id be weary of smooth flow!!! Not all pulleys spin true and they are not hard anodized aluminum. He left me hanging in the past! I'd purchased 10 systems and returned 2 because of out of round condition. He never fixed or returned them.

I have a full set and the idler offset is wrong so I needed a spacer to make them fit properly. They look great but I've never used them so i have no idea if they are out of round.

This is surprising still based on his 100% feed back rating on ebay.

If I had got them off of eBay, I would have tarnished his 100% positive feedback.

I've had a couple of his hubs, and a ton of pulleys. It's all I've run since probably 2009, and never had a problem with them.

So i received the pulleys and puller last week. Previous owner told me the dealer put on the stock pulley after they fixed something with the super charger. I being a DA went ahead and assumed i had a 3.8 stock pulley. Turns out i have been running a 3.4" pulley this whole time. My question now is 3.4" the lowest you can reliably go without meth or IC. That is what i seem to have read. But having stock manifolds and stock tune and had only 3 degrees or KR or less at WOT with the 3.4". I have added headers and plan to get an overkill tune.

Mainly i am trying to decide do i put the MPS on with the same size pulley or do i try to sell it and leave the 3.4 press on that on it. I am not planning at this time to IC or meth also trying to stay out of the trans. I think i answered my own question by typing this out but looking for others input.

Also it is disappointing when you are so excited to drop pulleys to then find out you already have.

3.4 is about as small as you will make it without major mods or better fuel.

Definitely keep the mps system. You'll need to change pulleys eventually. Make it easy on yourself.
