So i just completed my third topswap. The car ran great for a week and then i decided it was time to start getting the tuning down packed. Scotty helped me out with the bin file to start off with, i loaded the file and that was the last time it started. Its been about a week now since its ran and im literally out of options as far as what to do to get it running again. So far i have changed the coil packs(No the ICM, Just the coils) Crank and cam sensor, MAF, Vac lines, spark plugs, and MAP sensor. She will burp all day but refuses to fire up. Im getting spark all the way through. The wiring harness has been probed a million times to check for ground and everything checks out. Im getting fuel to the rails and fuel from the injectors so at this point im at a total loss. Would anybody have any insight to something im missing? I was told that maybe i should change the ICM but im waiting before i put more money into it. Any help would be very helpful. And before i forget ive done the security relearn with no luck. I have DHP but it doesnt help much, the only code it throws if for the Bypass sol since i have it deleted. And if it was a vac leak preventing the car from starting where would i even begin to look?

If you spray starting fluid or gas into it, does it run at all?

If so, Check your fuel injector plugs, and make sure the connections are solid. Check the fuel rail and make sure pressure is good.

When I sold my dad my 04, he had a similar issue and took it to a shop because he couldn't figure it out, and I didn't have time to go look at it. The shop diagnosed it with a bad injector. He replaced the injectors and the issue went away.

Only asking this because it's happened often enough... Did you make sure that the crankshaft harmonic balancer / pulley was lined up with the keyway...before you tighten the bolt?

I did a top swap on my 04. When I had a 2 bar map from my GT motor plugged in with the 3 bar map tune from a GTP it did crazy things. The PCM wasn't commanding the fuel Injectors to spray while cranking but if I sprayed ether it started right up. Something to check. It sounds like it has something to do with the tune if it doesn't start after the upload.

    Down packed?

    Lol.

Down pat is what you're looking for. Not sure if getting packed down is a good thing.

However, sounds like when you started tuning it, she let go.

Very possible. I wouldn't have tried my first tuning skills on a high comp boosted car anyways.

Oh well. At least the motors are dirt cheap.

It's got a stock pulley with stock internals, the only other mod would be headers. As a small side note that I just remembered was that after the flash, my security fuse ended up blowing. What would cause that to happen? Imy guessing pass key didn't like something I was doing

flash back your stock tune, if its na its ok as long as its just idling. if it fires up, that bin is no good for some reason. some times they get corrupt. if thats the case its not to hard to redo another bin with a different osid#.
