Big thanks to Sal for this compilation.

stock mufflers are going to be the quietest, I think Walker makes oem mufflers.

regals have a single muffler set up stock, but i've installed a gtp cat back with dual mufflers. and thats what you hear in the vid.

i hung it up and painted it too so help it last a bit longer, salted roads here.

theres sets with no tips, or with tips. you have tips to re use and the no tip kits were a bit cheaper. i had no tips so i got the cat back with tips off the mufflers already,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-2002-Gr...AAAOSwxYxUylfR where i got mine, this is a no tip cat back.

If you are not heavily modded stick to stock or walker, If you want aftermarket. I have had Bassani, Borla Pro-xs and thrush
Bassani is quite compared to the others

I have worn OEM exhaust on an 05 GTP. I can go take a clip in a bit for ya.

    Would a larger resonator help?

I've got the same Walker mufflers Scotty posted, had them welded on after one of the stock mufflers rotted a hole through the top. Sounds very similar to stock, nice and quiet. It also gave me the opportunity to get rid of the ugly pig snout tips my 05 had from the factory, easily some of the worst looking OEM exhaust tips I've seen.
For thine is the Cam, The Piston, and The Rod, Forever and ever (or until they break). Amen.

This is from the 05 CompG. I was under there last weekend and can safely say these are OEM @ 139k miles. My browser hates photobucket videos.

This link should work - http://vid1184.photobucket.com/album...uy/Exhaust.mp4

Mine didn't rust through, they blew out a baffle. That was after two years on a '97. The pipe was looking good when it sold. I bought the same replacements to throw on there, I believe.
