So currently trying to decide what route I should take. I'm currently on a 3.2 pulley in my gtp with supporting mods like headers intake tune ssic etc.. I'm running 17* at Wot currently and Kr free. My main question is I know my stock injectors are at there max and I plan to upgrade to the next step up. Would I be able to drop a pulley size on an ssic or would I need a stage 2 ic? Just trying to dig a little deep for some information. Right now the car is running 14.4 at the track. We're a full second slower up here in mile high so people don't get confused. Thanks guys you have helped me out a ton! Shoutout to Scotty too!!

if you have an ssic already, why are you asking if you do a pulley drop with one?

with your elevation you might be able to run a 3.1 or a 3.0 maybe. still gonna want injectors tho before hand. 3.2 is about the max for stock injectors.

I plan to upgrade my stock injectors. I'm just curious what the max is for a ssic pulley size wise.

I think zzp claims 1 or 2 pulley drops. the stock injectors are good for like a 3.1 pulley.

typically a 3.2 is. but being your in thin air, a smaller pulley might fly.

id try tossing more timing at it as is too. i had a local here on a ssic and a 3.2 and got him to 18 kr free. we just stopped adding there cause it felt good. didnt want to push it to far.

if it was me, I would push the timing to 20, and if still knock free than try a smaller pulley. and when you drop pulley sizes, pull timing to 15*

I will most likely set the timing to start at 19* and see what happens. I still need to get my yella terra 1.8s installed. Trying to hit a very high 13 up here which is a challenge. Not sure if rockers alone will help increase a little power or not.

I usually run 14.4 sometimes 14.5 when its very hot out up here at 6K feet. Not sure why my GTP is doing this well up here. When I had my 3.8 pulley I was doing 16.2 almost stock. I must be doing something right I suppose. Even if it was a 13.99 I would be happy as that's very hard up here. There's another GTP up here that has a 3.1 and a zzp s2 ic and he runs 14 flat all day long. Not sure what kind of timing he runs.
