I am a new owner to a 2000 GTP in which i knew has some performance mods i could see. I have read the whole thread on how to safely modify your 3800 SC engine.

So i started down the list of things to do to increase power.
I know it has a air intake (Thrasher)
SLP non-resonated cat back (drone is horrible)
Stock Pulley (has a smaller one before i bought it unsure of size)
    Look like stock injectors (white)
I pulled on spark plug and it is NGK 2450487 with a gap of 0.065" (stock is 0.060 i believe) 0.005" of wear.

I found it has the U-bend delete and looks like a high flow cat last time i was under the car. Bought SD headers before i knew this, not a big deal wanted to put headers on anyways. This got me wondering if the previous owner installed an after market down pipe as well. Is there any way to identify what is currently on the car? I know it wont matter once the headers are installed but would be nice to know.

Wondering if there is anyway with out a HP or other tuner to see if a tune has been loaded?

if there was a u bend delete done, it would not make sense for an aftermarket downpipe to be installed.

Okay, I just looked at stock photos and it has the stock down pipe with a cat welded in and straight pipe with horizontal o2. So he just did the u-bend delete and possibly a high flow cat.

The only performance mod on that list is the smaller pulley. The cold air intake, ubend delete and cat back together might have given you 5hp at the crank.

Those are more for reducing kr (or the potential of kr after more modding), and giving it a little better flow. Headers will help even more with flow and keeping kr down. With the headers, it will be a decent starting point for more mods that actually increase HP...

I should have used the term modifications. The reason I listed all the non-performance modification is that they are essential steps in the equation to safely allow the install of a smaller pulley giving the car a performance increase.
