Has anyone ever seen a head gasket blow just between #2 & #4 cylinder causing low compression? Runs great when cold and misses on #2 & #4 when warmed up and at at least 3psi or more of boost. No oil in water or water in oil. Motor is smooth and strong for everything when it's not boosting. Thank you

It's pretty rare for the head gaskets to go on these. Have you checked the compression?

The dealership did the compression test and said it was low on #2 & #4. The head gaskets were replaced less than a yr ago by the previous owner.

could be two bad plug wires, melted on the manifold.

But that wouldn't cause low compression on those 2 cylinders.

burnt valves if both are low on compression, and your not loosing coolant at all.

I thought that too but maybe being 2 cylinders next to each other might be a gasket issue?

If it were burnt valves wouldn't it still misfire when the motor is cold? It runs good even at WOT at full boost when the motor is cold. I knkw that's not the way to treat a cold motor bit I tried it today and it worked great when cold.

The fact alone that the head gasket was already done, increases the chances it may actually be blown now. I trust the factory more.
