I am a new member on here looking for some advice. I have a 2000 GTP with a ASCD ram air hood. I was currently installing a wbody S2 intercooler kit and I have just realized there is no way my hood will come close to closing with this setup. My car is lowered and has engine and trans spacers already installed. My question is what does everyone think about running a SS intercooler with e85? I am also going to be converting to e85 once my intercooler build is done. I really would have to hack my hood up good and that is something I don't wanna do. Anyone else on here having good results with SS intercooler along with e85? Oh car currently has 1.9 RRs, Gen V and ZZP headers and when done will also have e85 and SS intercooler.

if your going to corn, ditch the intercooler all together. you dont need it.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Can you space the hood on the brackets to make it fit. It might sit up a little by the cowl.

Otherwise skip the intercooler if you are going to run E85. It's kinda one of those pick one or the other type of things and it'll save you alot of money not having to buy all that stuff. E85 is just that good at cooling cylinder temps and making power.
