Noticed the last couple days that when I don't use my cruise and I'm around 53-64mph the rpms bounce up 500 n back down , I'm assuming my trans is starting to go? It's fine taking off and shifting up until that point, and if I gun it from 0 to 60+ it doesn't bounce or if I'm at 60 n hit wot it doesn't bounce just when I'm steady on the gas around 53-64.

I'd suggest driving up to that speed in the manual gears and when you get up to 60mph, shift it into D and that will put it into 4th gear. If your tach keeps bouncing up and down, then you know you have an issue with 4th gear. But try staying in 3rd for a bit and see if it does it in 3rd, if you can't get it to do it, switch into 4th gear and try it out.

So I shifted down to 3rd manually when rpm started to jump around 60mph and left it in 3rd for 5-10 sec and manually put it back into drive and it stopped jumping after that the entire 45mile trip. What could it be?

Would a trans shop be able to scan that before tearing into it? I haven't seen any codes pop up, even checked when the ses cel wasn't on,
