Sorry missed that.
Youd need a Gen V, E85, headers, cam setup with a 2.8 or smaller pulley.
Turbo, youd need a turbo kit.
And just so you realize the actual cost of a transmission your looking at 6+ grand for a turbo trans.

Where do you get 6+ grand from? At the amount of power I want ... which would be anywhere from 270 to MAX 350 I could get away with ZZP's base trans build w/ 3.29 gears which is like $3kish
W/ E85 will the motor get heat soaked? How much would Gen V + E85 w/ headers and cam run me? I understand with a cam and intercooler you can also run 2.8 on a Gen V instead of E85.
With the eaton on top the motor will get heat soaked eventually. Depends on a lot of factors though. You probably won't notice the 5-10hp loss at the level you're trying to get.
My car came with the Gen V so I can't speak to the added cost of that. But my Headers, Cam E85 build ran me about $2000 in parts, tools, etc. I did all the work myself, including shift kit on the trans and DHP tune by me. Doing your own work will save you money, if you can't, double that 2k easy.
I only got down to a 3.0 on E85 with 20* timing. Never liked how the 2.8 felt. Too little timing, too much KR.
IF E85 is available in your area go with it.
It's gonna be expensive. Just buy a different, faster stock car dude. 4k for engine parts, 2-3k for labor & tuning, 3-4k for trans plus more for labor.
All for a FWD family car.
The reason some of us have modded cars here is because we like to work on them. IF you don't, or can't, buy something faster to start out with.
Buy an older ls1 f-body and have fun.
But I already spent so much on suspension parts (Believe it or not the thing is a very competent handler as I'm getting used to driving with the new parts) :\ and it was hell with all the rust everywhere... literally how is everything so rusted? I fluid filmed stuff the best I could and hopefully it won't rust as much and be easier the next time around... I've spent some money on the suspension and tires already, nearly 1.5kish if I'm not mistaken... I kinda wanted to keep going.

I've considered an F-body and I swear I should've pulled the trigger on it... But I thought snow... + a high 12 second rwd car might equal disaster for me. Fbodies would've been so much more suited for what I wanted to do, a cam, headers, have someone put em on and tune them, level 5 koni handling kit, throw on some sticky tires and at that point I'm at modern performance car territory.
