97 gp se 3800..long story short. Warm air only on driver side. Just changed blend door actuactor ( took a few hours and a headache ), same result. Any suggestions? Maybe ac unit itself? I tried a pro a while back but it was in the red while connecting it to low port. Also, i have no water dripping under the car even after i cleaned the evap drain.

take the actuator back off, then turn the knob by hand, see if it blows cold then, if not its ac related and a low charge maybe.

if you have the dual sliders for the temps the climate control could be broken. and not telling the actuator to turn.

did you by chance have th ebattery die, or un hook it and then this started? if so find the fuse for the cc and pull it for a minute, cant find the fuse? pull the neg battery cable off for 5 minutes to reset the actuators. works on my regal when they take a crap on me. same thing, warm on one side.

I did turned the actuator by hand and it was the same result. Its been warm air from quite some time. I unhooked the battery only because there were alot of wires in the way and i didnt want to trigger an air bag lol

your system could be low and need recharging.

the compressor clutch spins and the fans come on when you turn the ac on right?

I did mention about the ac pro. It says if you attach the hose to the low port line and the arrow points in the red, that means not to add any freon. Or is ac pro just a waste of time?

ok, wasn't sure if you meant a shop or not lol

the actuator is what controls the hot and cold, so if you moved it by hand its some thing to do with the ac.

do make sure the compressor turns, and both fans turn on when the ac is turned on.

Compressor turns on as soon as i press that ac button. Could it be my blower motor? When i first purchased this car i think it was a lemon. It had a electrical box cover sealed on the spot where the water drains when it rains. So as a result, i had a lake in my car. Im thinking the motor isnt functioning as it should

try putting the air to floor, see if its cold on both sides. theres no duct work for it to travel through really.

I really all out of ideas now. It feels like all the heat from the engine comes through those vents and it sucks

The AC pro gauges are a joke. Have a shop vaccuum and fill with new refrigerant. Make sure they use a dye too.

When you say in the red. Was that low red, high red.. car running with AC on or not?

If you turn on the AC, the pipes for it should get cold and sweat a lot in high humidity. Do they do that?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Ac was on max and fan speed at 5 (manual ac). Gauge read high red. High pressure line feels cold, low pressure side is warm to hot.

What I'm hearing is...it's not sweating it's balls off.

If a low pressure side gauge reads high, you likely have a problem with the system. Like a bad compressor etc.
