S1X cam in my daily!! Very nice cam for a DD imo nothing insane but on e85 makes 330whp. Pretty decent imo especially since that's WITHOUT an intercooler!

Yes I cant believe that S1X na cam is still forsale!

Someone needs to grab that S1X cam from Slick and throw this on it too!

    http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...mode=1&smode=1

Id rock that S1X cam on a NA car over the GT1 cam any day.

Ive always wanted to see what a cammed NA car with some 3.69 gears and a 75 or 100 shot would do!

(ive got some 3.69 gears and a zex nitrous kit I'd sell too just sayin........)

you can have the biggest cam in the world in an automatic without having driveability issues.

a huge cam in a manual car makes it a bit harder to drive in heavy traffic...

Again glad you pointed out that the wbody has and automatic.........

no need for the reply we all know you drive a manual rwd car and again who cares that's not fwd or auto........

Or maybe to run a big cam in a rwd manual car you could set up the car with a clutch combo that was worth a sh1t..........
Don't tell me it cant be done, mustang Camaros ect ect ect all do it.

Again no need here for a response I thought this thread was about a cammed AUTO FWD WBODY?

If I were you, I wouldn't spend the money to cam a na motor. There is not much for gains. These motors make power with boost. Most other mods don't do much in the grand scheme of things.

If you think you will top swap it, I would save up for some heads and stick in an xpz at the same time. IMO, the xpz is a better dd cam than the xp.

an aggressive N/A cam build with heads is only going to put about 240 hp at the wheels, if that. you are better off adding a supercharger or a turbo and installing an xp or xpz cam. its more work, but a lot more power.

Get a radiator flush and make sure your T-Stat is working and your tune that you'll be getting has the fan turn on point lower than stock. That'll keep it cool. How does a different camshaft profile make a car get hot?

Plugs/wires/t-stat, HV3, 3" DP/PLOG, Tune, Intake, Solid Mounts, ER Rockers, different mufflers.

Will make around 200~WHP and should run decently close to a stock GTP. Been there, done that.

I enjoy the broad range of everything you just suggested.

JUST DO EVERYTHING TO IT. IT'LL BE FASTER.

Also a good setup to hit the ground running with a turbo later down the road.

Or just save your money for a complete turbo setup.

And don't waste it on anything else.
