it could go right in front of the TB but that is a lot of lag time between reading the air and the engine ingesting the air. the BBV would be lacking because all it does is let the pressurized air out of the LIM back in front of the rotors in a stock setup. with all that piping that's a lot of air to release and no where really for it to go. can i ask why you are so hell bent on this? or some other setup that is not a turbo?

You would need to move the throttle body to LIM then.

I'm not really hell bent on anything, I just like the idea of using a 3800 to make more power with. everyone I talk to says to get an LS engine or something with a V8, so I guess I am a non conformist because I dont really care about buying a V8 Camaro. Getting a 3800 Camaro seems to hold my interest a lot more.

I know a V8 will make more power and the Z28 or SS has better options and is more easily upgradeable, but I like the 3800.

Probably the best way to do it would be to do a top swap and a supercharged cam. I think the L36 block will handle something like 400 hp. Plus, I have a set of L67 heads already, and a gen 3 with lim are cheap and easy to find. I would have to decide on the xp or xpz.
