I have a 2004 GT - automatic. For over a year, I have to step on the gas pedal most of the time to get the car started. My cousin has the exact same model and is experiencing the same problem. I have 120,000 miles on my car; half on my cousin's.
Recently, my car's engine warning light would come on and off. In addition, I stopped at a light and was about to go when my car was traveling probably approx 1 mph even though I tried to press on the gas to rev it up - the pedal felt resistant. I had to turn off my car and re-start to get it to run like normal. Since then, my car jerks just a little bit (happened twice?)
