Ok trying to beef up the engine and suspension on a budget. Bolt one I'm not too worried about. It's more the internals that I'm almost clueless on. Can anybody help me out? Also what would be the best trans brake or line lock.. What do I need to get this car drag ready..

    What vehicle is this in??

Nobody puts a trans brake or line lock in a FWD grand prix, they just foot brake it off the line.

Line locks are cool though. Had one in my Firebird. Push brake, flip switch, release brake and front brakes stay engaged while rear brakes release to do standing burnouts.

But c'mon, the FWD 3.8 has too much weight over the front wheels and enough power that it will drag a locked rear juuust fine.

You say "budget" and "drag ready"... first thing that pops up in my mind is "weight reduction". Tearing stuff out is darn near free.
