    Hey guys.
I want to keep my car N/A for now. So I'm wanting to get some help from the Forum to help me achieve the highest possible HP i can keeping it N/A.
Things I have in mind so far:
    Plog
    HV3
    High Velocity TB
2.5" catless DP (no emissions where I live so it's extremely easy to get away with)
    TR6
    10.5mm wires ZZP
Bigger fuel injectors? Not sure if this actually does anything for HP.
ZZP GT cam unless I can get a more aggressive one. Not sure if they're compatible. OR rockers
    and eventually,
    ZZP heads.

Where else can I go with this?
Idea's? thoughts? I want to get started on this ASAP. I have a few basic things done
    Straight pipe after the CAT
    180T
    CAI
    TR6
    10.5 wires
Front passenger seat removal mod, drops some pounds and makes it easier for my dog when she rides with me haha.

What's the best course of action for this? I may eventually do a top swap but I'd really like to push the limits of the N/A.

Just staaaahp don't. Don't spend a dime on your NA set up. For as much as you'll spend you'll be double a top swap and close to a full turbo set up

And get headers. And don't straight pipe. These cars sound like ass worse than a Honda with a fart can straight pipes

The ZZP Throttle body and ZZP heads would be a huge waste of money.

In all honestly you'd likely never outflow the stock throttle body at NA power level and the heads will flow just fine. Take them off and clean up the poor casting marks but thats about it really.

Not sue how many NA cams are out there but the GT or the GT2 cam should be good or go a custom grind route to make it lope more.

Not sure you'd max the stock injectors, as some SSM90 swaps still use the factory L36 injectors to certain pulley level and you wouldnt see that much HP n/a. At best you might reach or just pass the stock power level of a L67 motor. Perhaps spray it with some NOS to make it go faster.

Why do you have TR6 plugs on there?

You're not bumping compression or adding boost.

If you want to make more power, 10:1 pistons, IS3 NA cam and a very nice set of heads would be a good start. Port match the LIM, they're known to be of **** quality casting.

    Fabricate some long tube headers.

But at the end of the day, 250 WHP will require spinning the crap out of the engine, which the rods don't like, and a huge cam which will suck. Consider finding a Holden intake manifold. Or F body and porting the crap out of it.

Also perhaps a little stall to help with the cam being a whore. ZZP Al heads would be ideal, but they're unobtanium now.

Wes Blair had a magical IS3 cam and S3 head build that made 240-250 WHP. But with what bottom end? What fuel? What engine speed? Belt on or off? No idea. Good luck.

My car actually sounds really good for being straight piped after the cat. I'll see if I can figure out how to post a video.

I have TR6 because I bought the car with 110k Miles and they never did a tune up on it. Just bought those along with everything else and tuned it up.

Having the fastest NA GP is like saying you took the worlds largest dump... at the end of the day.. its still a dump and a turbo GP will laugh at you. Also, straight pipes sound like you did take the worlds largest dump and it just doesn't stop coming out.

If you want to spend some cash on your car. Get a decent z3 or z7 kit.. or go all out with a Stattama... add a TEP trans and some slicks and have a hay-day.

    250 WHP*1.25= 312 CHP

The record is higher than that, but no accessory belt, so it's not really reasonable.

But 300 WHP, NA? Never been done. Heads suck too much, only 231 cubes, no real intake manifold options, no good headers etc.

But ya know, it's all about how much time and money you want to put in.

It'd still be more boring to drive than an M90 car. The gears of the 4T65E are wide so you need to be making max torque around 3700-4300 RPM else you'll be having a bad time after each shift.

So then, a top swap would add more HP than all the possible N/A mods?

What's a full top swap kit cost? I've heard the ZZP kit is extremely over priced.

IF you bargain hunt and get used parts you can grab a gen 3 m90 lim heads balancer and fuel rails for 300-400. rock out some headers, rockers and all the associated gaskets and a correct size pulley and you're rocking a 240-260 whp setup on gas on gtp injectors or close to 280-300 whp on big injectors and e85. all for less than 1200-1400.

    Where as this mod list:
    Plog
    HV3
    High Velocity TB
2.5" catless DP (no emissions where I live so it's extremely easy to get away with)
    TR6
    10.5mm wires ZZP
Bigger fuel injectors? Not sure if this actually does anything for HP.
ZZP GT cam unless I can get a more aggressive one. Not sure if they're compatible. OR rockers
    and eventually,
    ZZP heads.

Where else can I go with this?
Idea's? thoughts? I want to get started on this ASAP. I have a few basic things done
    Straight pipe after the CAT
    180T
    CAI
    TR6
    10.5 wires

will run you well north of 2k.

I LOVE my top swap. Better than any NA setup on these cars garenteed. bone stock (no headers or rockers or anything) it ran 14.6 on crap tires.
    04 GTP -HAI, 1.9 rockers.

Top swap or turbo enough said. Personally I'd just go turbo and be done with it, believe me I've wasted a ton of money trying to over build my engine.
