I have a 97 G.P. with 78k that just had the service engine soon light come on after the temp drop last week12/22ish. I realize this could be a coincidence but I think it may have been cause by the extreme cold because I am thinking sensor. The light did turn off after the temp rose but now the light is back on permanently with a small sputter around idle after the initial start.
I will take the car in to have the code read but I don’t have a timeslot right now until the end of the week. I monitor my fluids daily right now and can’t find any other symptoms to go with this issue. I did replace my uim lim gaskets 3500 miles ago as well as the spark plugs. This would obviously tell you guys and girls what was opened up and what was disconnected semi recently.
