Recently my car has been kind of stuttering on acceleration. It also kind of jolts back while driving at a constant speed. Anyone have any idea? I already tried unplugging the MAF sensor, didn't work. Changed the fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter, plugs and wires. I'm all out of ideas except maybe a few other sensors but I don't know which ones it could be.

EDIT: The catalytic convertor has recently been changed for being clogged so I don't think that's the problem

EDIT: I'm driving a 2002 Grand Prix GT

Also I forgot to mention that I just had the catalytic convertor changed for being clogged so I don't think that's the problem.

It's not giving any at the moment, would it be worth it to look at the TPS/O2 sensors or does this not sound like them?

What do you mean by kicking and jerking? How are the shifts (hard/soft?) TPS would TYPICALLY throw a code, but not always. It can be checked using a voltmeter...should start out at .5v ish at closed throttle and gradually increase to about 4.5v wide open throttle. If the voltage drops randomly, you got a bad TPS.

I'll be driving and it will kind of jolt back for a second, as if the power being outputted by the engine dropped by like 75% but only for about half a second and then it kicks back up which kind of causes it to kind of jolt. I'll check the TPS with a volt meter and let you guys know, if I were to disconnect the TPS and it was malfunctioning would the car run more smoothly? Or would that not be a good way to tell if it's bad

That won't give you a definitive answer. Could be a crank position sensor dropping out too. Just thought about that. Might be losing spark for a sec until the computer picks it up.

I just checked the check engine codes and it says there's a bad speed sensor, could this be the problem?

If it's the engine speed sensor then it's talking about the crank position sensor as I previously mentioned.
